Life with Jesus, One Step at a Time
“Abide in Me.” (John 15:4)
Jesus Leben means “Life in Jesus.” Leben is Yiddish for “life,” and the name is simply our confession that true life is found in Christ: “For to me to live is Christ” (Philippians 1:21).
This outreach is for all followers of Jesus, not only certain denominations. We have Anabaptist roots, shaped by a plain and quiet way of discipleship, but our focus is Jesus Himself. We want to encourage faith in Christ and abiding in Him through His Word: “Abide in Me” (John 15:4) and “Your word is a lamp to my feet” (Psalm 119:105).
How This Began
This began quietly, with the Spirit’s gentle leading and a simple trust in Jesus Christ our Redeemer. These words are offered with a plain heart and open hands, not to draw attention to ourselves, but to point to the life, teachings, and gracious way of Jesus.
If anything here helps your heart draw nearer to Jesus, we’re thankful. If it gives you strength to follow Him in everyday obedience, to love your neighbor, to forgive, to speak truthfully, to show mercy, and to dwell in His peace, then the praise belongs to Jesus alone. We pray He uses these pages to comfort the weary, to welcome those who are searching, and to steady His people in a faithful path of discipleship. May Jesus keep us watchful and ready for the day He returns.
